NXIVM Founder Keith Raniere ARRESTED for Sex Trafficking

TODAY, Truth Prevails and Justice is Served…at long last!

TODAY, NXIVM Founder Keith Raniere appeared in a Texas courtroom in shackles and handcuffs after being ARRESTED for Sex Trafficking and Forced Labor.

The Feds extradited him from Mexico where he had fled after learning he was the target of a federal criminal investigation.  There is a strong case for his remaining in jail until his trial.  There are other investigations that may result in further charges and arrests yet to come.  If Keith is convicted, he could see 15 years or more in jail.

My first thought was, “OMG, I can finally be safe from this man further harming me!

After 9 years of Keith legally stalking me with 14 lawsuits over 100,000 court pages in 4 states appearing before 8 Judges and even getting a Trooper to lie having me falsely arrested removing my passport for almost a year – I can breath a sigh of relief.  Thankfully, all cases AGAINST ME were dismissed.  It cost me over $700,000 in fees and caused damage to every aspect of my personal and professional life while placing undue burdens on all of my relationships.  I’ve spent thousands on attorneys to help me plead with authorities to stop Keith from further abusing me and others.  I had countless meetings with the FBI, US Attorney’s Office, NYS Attorney General’s Office, Customs, Immigration, IRS and NYS Taxation Dept. – but to no avail.  Had they listened Keith may not have gotten so out of control with this recent abusive secret women’s society.  I want to give praise to a NYC attorney, Pamela Hayes, who has tirelessly championed my cause and contacted Governor Cuomo’s office speaking with his special counsel, which inspired this criminal investigation and aided to the events of today.

TODAY was made possible by some very brave souls who were harmed terribly , but had the courage to stand up and speak out including:  Toni Natalie, Susan Dones, Kim Woolhouse, Joe O’Hara and Sarah Edmondson.  There have been many others along the way and our collective voices were finally heard.  This would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of the media exposing these abuses.  Most especially, the Albany Times Union Newspaper with their outstanding reporters James Odato and Brendan Lyons. There were also the bloggers John Tighe and Frank Parlato who created a platform for many voices to be heard and information to be revealed.

CONGRATULATIONS to each and every one of US who made a difference in this day!  It’s been a long hard journey to see this day come and there is still a way to go.   But, WE have climbed the mountain and are at the top now.  Everything from here on in is a much easier walk down.  I was starting to give up hope that Keith would be held accountable, but TODAY has renewed my faith and optimism that TRUTH PREVAILS and JUSTICE IS SERVED.

This is beyond anything I could have imagined.  I want to say THANK YOU to all those people, near and far, who have supported me.  I am deeply grateful to those who stood by me – never wavering in your belief, confidence and trust.  Your support, encouragement and love kept me strong.  I feel vindicated on this day – and truly blessed.  Many lessons have been learned and they’ve made me a far better person today.

TODAY, is a day to CELEBRATE!!

TODAY, I can rest easier knowing that myself and others can finally begin to heal in more wholesome ways – and feel safer.

Yes, today was a good day.  Indeed.
